Returns & Refunds
Any return must have a authorized RMA number before shipping back the product. In case of DOA, please contact us for RMA number. Please do not return a product until you receive the Return Authorization (RA#) and instructions from us, as the product might end up lost if returned without an RA#. In such case no refund will be possible. All returns must be in original condition.
2. Time allowed for Returns:
If you need to return a product for any reason, you can initiate the RMA request for return within 14 days of receipt. Requesting RMA does not guarantee the return as other condition as described may apply. Returning for reason "no longer wanted" is not entertained. Once RMA number has been issued unopened product must be shipped back with in 7 days of issuing RMA number. After 15 days you will need to contact the Manufacturer directly for Warranty Repair.
3. Condition of Returns:
In order to make a return, the product must be unopened, in NEW condition, with the ORIGINAL BOX, all the Accessories, Paperwork and Packing Materials intact, exactly as you received it. Once an item has been opened it can no longer be returned for resale. All equipment sold is supported by the OEM or manufacturer. In the unlikely event that a product is defective, please contact the customer support network of the manufacturer to have it serviced under warranty. Returning an unopened package MAY be possible, but this comes with a restocking fee as well as the buyer covering all return freight charges. There are no refunds issued on shipping. Please contact us with any questions and additional information.
Software purchased can not be returned.
4. Shipping & Handling Costs:
If the return is due to our error, we will pay for shipping charges. If the return is for any reason other than a fault of our Company, shipping and handling charges will be your responsibility (both ways). If you do not like a product or no longer need it, this is not considered our fault and we will not issue a shipping label for the return.
5. Restocking Fees:
If you decide to return a product because you changed your mind, no longer need the product, have buyer's remorse, found a cheaper seller, you don't like the product or the product doesn't fit your needs, a restocking fee will apply:
- Any unopened item in original condition: We will refund 75% of the item's price.
- Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts or original packaging for reasons not due to our error: NO return is possible on this situation.
Refunds can take 10-15 business days from the date the item returned was received by us or by our supplier.
7. Heavy products:
Products which are heavy are usually shipped by truck on pallet, these products do not qualify for return, unless we shipped wrong item. Items once shipped must be accepted for delivery. Any return or refusal of shipment will attract 2 way shipping charges + 20% restocking fee.
Refusing delivery is not an option. If you do not need the product please receive it and request for an RMA number. Many of our products are shipped from different warehouses, so when a shipment is refused it is likely to go to the wrong place and result in additional shipping cost. Refusing an item will result in additional restocking charge depending upon the condition of the product when and where it arrives. For any refused item 30% or more restocking fee will be applied in addition to shipping charges depending upon where we receive the product.
Laptops do not qualify for returns unless we shipped a wrong item or you received a defective item, in which case we will organize to get the product exchanged for the right item. In case of DOA, please contact us with in 3 days to get laptop exchanged. If there is any other issue, we will resolve by tech support or exchanging the laptop. No exchange or return is possible after 14 days.
Inventory: Racks4Server stocks most items it sells. In addition to this we also uses multiple data feeds from our partner warehouses to update inventory on daily basis and we do are very best to manage accuracy of this information. We are not responsible for any SKU’s being assigned to other products, manufactures, descriptions or UPC codes. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to these inaccuracies or typogracial errors.
